Lolit Solis shared this health update
Veteran showbiz writer Lolit Solis clarified the rumors that she is already “nakaratay” because of her illness.
Previously, Lolit shared that she started her dialysis sessions. She would even share photos during her session with celebrities who visited her. Although she is battling her disease, she still continues writing showbiz write-ups on her Instagram page as well as in her column on Pilipino Star Ngayon.
In her recent article, the showbiz writer answered the speculation that she is now bedridden because of her disease.
Lolit Solis admitted that she was “naloka” when rumors surfaced about her health status. She said that she had previously shared her ailments and that she had pneumonia.
“Pero sa awa ng Diyos nalampasan ko ‘yun. Gumaling ako at pinauwi ng aking mga doctor na ipinaramdam kung gaano sila ka-concern sa akin,” the showbiz writer said. She knows that there are a lot of people who were not able to survive this but in her case, she felt like she is “babaeng pinagpala” and her life is extended.
Lolit even stressed that she was able to go to a salon amid the speculations about her health.
“Nakapagpakulay pa ako ng buhok sa Bambbi Fuentes Salon noong Lunes ng tanghali kahit itanong ninyo pa kay Kris na favorite ko sa Bambbi Fuentes. Sosyal ‘di ba. Itim na itim na ulit, sino na ang magsasabi na lahat ng 76 years ay puti ang buhok? Hahahaha,” the veteran showbiz writer enthused.
Lolit also believes that as people assume someone’s death, the more that person’s life will be extended. “Saka ‘di ba the more na sinasabi nilang nakaratay ako, the more na parang lumalakas ang pakiramdam ko,” she said.
Then, the writer said that it is just she does not post on Instagram as frequently as before. She said that she is now indulging herself in watching K-dramas. Lolit also enjoys just chilling at home.
The writer added, “Kain-kain at count ng datung na bigay ng mga ‘papa’ ko na itago natin sa pangalang… Hahahaha. Basta hindi ko sasabihin ngayon pero kung pipilitin n’yo ako, sasabihin ko rin. Bongga.“
Lolit Solis also said that for now, she will focus on writing in her PSN column, as well as in Pang-Masa. She also said that what she will write in her article is just the truth only.
